Amitabh prays for his mother at Bindu Sarovar

Abhishek Bachchan has been signed up by Madhya Pradesh Tourism as brand ambassador, Amitabh Bachchan embarked on the second round of shooting for promoting Gujarat state as a tourist destination.
In between flying kites and shooting for the ad films, Bachchan, as we can tell you, took time off for some quiet, private moments.
At the holy Bindu Sarovar, in Siddhpur, the actor offered tarpan for his mother Teji Bachchan, who passed away in December, 2007.It is said that the Bindu Sarovar is the only place where one can perform rituals for departed mothers and Bachchan did not wish to miss the opportunity to do so. In a poignant message to his fans, he said, "…will pray for 'atma shanti' for my Mother."
And for the benefit of those who do not quite follow the rituals, he said, "For those that do not understand, 'Shraadh' is special prayer ceremony for the peace and well being of departed soul!!" This diarist hopes he found what is soul was searching for.
