Amitabh Bachchan to try a medley now!

Big B sings again for a film and this time goes one up with a medley of his own numbers.
Amitabh Bachchan to try a medley now!
Four iconic Amitabh Bachchan numbers will now be a part of his new film Buddha. And since it is his home production, the Big B will up the scales by singing the hit medley all by himself.
Starting his musical career by reciting a poem for Yash Chopra's Kabhi Kabhie in 1976, Bachchan went on to sing full-fledged songs that became hits in the 1980s. After a few initial hits, in Mr Natwarlal, Lawaaris and Silsila, he was asked to sing almost for every film he did.
He last sung for Paa (2010), which was a hit.

And this time, the star has decided to sing for his home production again.
However, the interesting part about this song in Puri Jagannath's Buddha is that is is a medley of four iconic Big B numbers: Khaike Paan Banaraswala from Don, Rang Barse from Silsila, Saara Zamana Haseeno Ka Deewana from Yaarana and Pag Ghungroo from Namak Halal.
The shooting of the song to be picturised on Bachchan himself was also completed recently. "Puri is very fast. He functions like a rocket," said a source close to the film.
A source close to the film revealed, "Actually, this same medley was done for The Unforgettables Tour in 2008, wherein Bachchan had lent his voice."
However, keeping the film modifications in mind, Bachchan re-recorded the medley for Buddha. The recording was done at Vishal-Shekhar Studio in Bandra. Said an eyewitness, "It was Puri's idea to get Amitabh singing in the film. When Puri heard The Unforgettables medley, he was simply bowled over."
Added the witness, "Bachchan rocked. He has done a fabulous job. This man can sing even better at 68 than what he sang when he was 40."
