Amitabh Bachchan, as always, has put his best foot forward to contribute to the
Kerala Relief Fund. The situation in flood ravaged Kerala has only worsened and the senior actor has donated a big stash of his personal clothes, shoes and accessories for the victims of the calamity.
Acting on the initiative undertaken taken by sound designer
Resul Pookutty, Mr Bachchan has also made a sizable monetary donation to the Kerala Relief Fund. A source close to the development has also revealed that he has sent a big lot of his belongings to the relief cause in the state. The source revealed, “Mr Bachchan has sent six cartons of his personal clothing, that includes around 80 jackets, 25 pants, 20 shirts and lots of scarves. The actor has also donated around 40 pairs of shoes.”
Other B-Town celebrities like
Shah Rukh Khan,
Akshay Kumar,
Vidya Balan and
Jacqueline Fernandez have also stepped forward to help those affected by the floods in Kerala.
