Amitabh Bachchan celebrates his birthday

Amitabh Bachchan deferred his birthday party by a day. The actor turned 74 on Tuesday but couldn't have a party at home following friend and social figure Parmeshwar Godrej's demise a day before. The Bachchans and Godrejs have known each other for years and it was inevitable that he would not have a gathering at home the same evening. And so, his co-stars from his recent release, Pink, including Tapsee Pannu, Andrea Tariang, Kirti Kulhari and Piyush Mishra, were at his Juhu bungalow last night for dinner.They were greeted by Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who looked into the arrangements for the evening. The guests, we hear, had a great time chatting with Bachchan Sr who made it a point to see off every guest.
