Ameesha Patel loves Radio Mirchi

MUMBAI: Ameesha Patel loves FM Radio. And ever since she launched the Pune city Radio Mirchi station on 93.9, she loves it even more. In fact, at any given time, she''s either listening to Radio Mirchi in her car, or is plugged into her sleek FM set with a set of earphones (between filming at the studios).
And her favourite gizmo is a sleek ''n'' silvery Radio, which the ''Mirchi'' team handed out to everyone who attended the Pune event.And like a gleeful school baby, Ms Patel had kept one for herself. But there is only one obstacle to her listening in on the Bombay Radio Mirchi station on 98.3.
In spite of her crossing the ''Mirchi'' Express highway (as it is now called with FM on either side), her set is still catching 93.9 - The Pune Mirchi station. The bemused actress even complained to us, "I keep trying to tune it to 98.3 and I keep getting that Pune Mirchi. Has it got to do with the radio set or what?" Hmm! Now maybe the baby is simply angling for another ''Mirchi'' radio, or did she really cross the highway - into the ''Mirchi'' Zone?
