While shooting in the high altitudes of Ladakh, he complained of breathlessness. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, and flown to Mumbai the very next day.

Farhan has since then recovered and gone back to shoot the film.

"He’s fine now and shooting has been resumed. I will be leaving for Ladakh today," said Hrithik on the day of his departure to the mountain kingdom.

Sources close to the unit of Lakshya say that even Hrithik faced problems in Ladakh due to the high altitude. In fact, Farhan was forced to shoot with his duplicate till Hrithik got used to the conditions in the valley.

Even J P Dutta’s LoC went through similar problems while shooting in Ladakh. All the actors, including Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan and Suneil Shetty, were advised to take rest for two days after a day''s shoot.

"We had to shoot under extremely difficult conditions at 14,000 feet. The high altitude and extremely cold environment make it difficult to live and shoot there, it also creates respiratory problems," says Suneil Shetty, who was with the unit of LoC last year in Ladakh.
