Allu Arjun taken for a medical examination, seeks urgent hearing in Telangana High Court following stampede incident

Allu Arjun was taken for a medical examination after his arrest at the Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad. This followed the death of a woman during a screening of his film at Sandhya Theatre on December 4. The incident occurred when a stampede broke out as crowds gathered for the premiere.

The actor has asked his lawyer to request an urgent hearing in the High Court. Two days ago, he filed a petition to cancel the FIR against him.



On the night of December 4, around 9:30 PM, Allu arrived at Sandhya Theatre with his personal security. As he entered, a large crowd outside tried to follow him in. The situation got worse when his security team allegedly pushed the crowd, creating more chaos.

Reports indicate that the crowd's attempt to enter the lower balcony area en masse, following Allu and his security team, resulted in extreme overcrowding. The stampede that followed caused 35-year-old Revathi to lose consciousness, and she later succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. Her nine-year-old son, Sritej, was also injured and is still hospitalised.
