Alia Bhatt shares cheery sun-kissed pics from her New Year getaway with Ranbir Kapoor, Raha Kapoor and family

Alia Bhatt began her weekend, by reminiscing about her New Year's getaway to Thailand, where she celebrated with husband Ranbir Kapoor, daughter Raha Kapoor and their families.
Taking to her handle, the actress shared fun and cheery photos from her time spent on the beach in the scenic getaway. Sharing a carousel of some sun-kissed photos, the actress captioned them as, “If you didn’t post a beach photo, did you even go on vacation?”

The photos capture Alia embracing the beach vibe as she took a dip in a black swimsuit and also got into 'Alpha' action mode by zooming around on a jet ski. The star, who has been busy with her film shoots, took the time off to spend her time tanning under the sun, and catching up on some reading. Another highlight of the trip was her bonding time with her sister, Shaheen Bhatt.
While extending her New Year's wishes to fans, Alia treated them to heartwarming family moments from the getaway. The pictures included adorable shots with Ranbir Kapoor, who was seen affectionately kissing her while their daughter Raha sat in his lap. Family photos featured her mother Soni Razdan, sister Shaheen Bhatt, in-laws Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and close friend and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji.

The Thailand vacation marked a brief yet refreshing escape for Alia, who has since returned to her busy schedule. On Tuesday, the actor shared pictures from her workday, signalling her was back to the grind.
On the professional front, Alia has an exciting lineup. She will headline the spy drama Alpha alongside Sharvari. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film will expand Yash Raj Films’ celebrated spy universe.
Alia is also set to reunite with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Love & War, co-starring Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor. The film, announced in January 2024, is scheduled for a Christmas 2025 release. This marks Alia’s second collaboration with Bhansali after the critically acclaimed Gangubai Kathiawadi in 2022.
