Alia Bhatt wants to star in a biopic?

After garnering immense praises for her role in her latest flick 'Kapoor & Sons,' Alia has expressed her desire to star in a biopic based on Pakistani singer, Nazia Hassan, reports BollywoodLife.

Of late, a number of B-Town beauties have been starring in biopics. While former beauty queen Priyanka Chopra played the fierce boxer in 'Mary Kom,' Sonam Kapoor essayed the role of brave-heart Neerja Bhanot in 'Neerja'.And now, '2 States' actress Alia Bhatt has declared her wish to star in a biopic.
According to the report, when asked about who she would want to play on screen, Alia replied by saying that "a biopic on Pakistani singer Nazia Hassan would be great.' The 23-year-old star also revealed that she has already done her homework on Nazia's life and that it would "make for a good film on celluloid.'
