Alia Bhatt to shoot for spy thriller 'Alpha' in Kashmir: reports

Actor Alia Bhatt is set to resume filming for the second schedule of her highly anticipated spy thriller, Alpha, in Kashmir this September 2024. The film's shooting began in Mumbai at the YRF studio in early July.


According to IndiaToday.in, the next phase of production will move to the scenic landscapes of Kashmir. According to a source close to the project, “After completing the Mumbai schedule, the team will head to Kashmir for the next part of the shoot. This schedule will be brief, starting at the end of August and concluding in the first week of September.”

Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha is expected to deliver a gripping drama centered on espionage and international intrigue. Alia Bhatt has been preparing extensively for her role, undergoing rigorous training in high-intensity action sequences and stunts.



In Alpha, Bhatt will play a super-agent, with Sharvari Wagh also featuring prominently in the film. Sharvari previously announced the film's start of production on Instagram alongside director Shiv Rawail. With a promising cast and a strong connection to the YRF Spy Universe, Alpha is generating considerable excitement and anticipation for its release.

On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's daughter Raha Kapoor continues to steal hearts with her adorable looks. On Tuesday evening, Raha was spotted out for a car ride with her mom Alia and close family friend Ayan Mukerji.

In a paparazzi video, Raha was seen sitting on Ayan’s lap, while Alia sat beside them. The little girl sported her signature twin ponytails, while Alia wore a white shirt and Ayan matched her in white. Raha looked charming as she curiously gazed at the road, with Ayan holding her close.

Many fans have commented on how quickly Raha is growing up and noted that she resembles both Alia and Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor.


Just a few days earlier, Raha was seen with Ranbir at their home, looking cozy in his arms and flashing a sweet smile at the cameras. She seemed to take after Alia, with her curious gaze at the photographers.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt recently shared that he hopes Raha will watch his film Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahi, calling it one of his most heartfelt movies. He mentioned that the film, which stars Pooja Bhatt and Aamir Khan, resonates with the human heart. Bhatt also admitted that his focus has now shifted from Alia to his granddaughter Raha.
