It happened at an airport while she was travelling for the film. Her former bodyguard, Zeeshan Qureshi, recently shared details about the episode. He explained how the actor was mobbed by airport staff.

In an interview with Screen, Zeeshan Qureshi recalled the moment in detail. He said the team was travelling abroad for the shoot. After completing immigration, Alia was waiting alone in a corner.Soon, several airport officials and staff approached her. They wanted to take pictures with the young actor. Within moments, the situation turned overwhelming.

“The customs officers and airport team saw that Alia Bhatt was alone, with no staff, bodyguard or manager, because we were still in the queue. Within a minute, they surrounded her with excitement, saying, ‘Ma’am, ek photo chahiye, ek photo bas (We want a picture with you)’. They all clung on to her together. Vo bechaari ekdum haath aur pair close karke khadi thi, dari hui (The poor thing stood there, all scared and uncomfortable),” he said.

Bodyguard steps in quickly

Zeeshan Qureshi said he rushed to her as soon as he completed his formalities. He noticed the situation had escalated. People had crowded around her without maintaining distance.He intervened immediately and asked them to step back. He also reminded them to behave responsibly.“All of them were educated people, but usko daba ke khade the, gale mein aur kandhe par haath rakhne ki koshish kar rahe the (they were crowding her and trying to put their hands on her shoulders and neck for pictures). When I steered them away and rebuked them, I said that if a girl is standing alone, at least maintain some distance. She is a heroine on screen, but she is also a girl. Then, I escorted Alia properly,” he added.Zeeshan now works with Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.

‘Alpha’ gears up for release

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is preparing for her upcoming film 'Alpha'. The project is directed by Shiv Rawail. It is part of Aditya Chopra’s YRF Spy Universe.The film also stars Sharvari, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor. It has generated strong anticipation among fans.The film was first teased in the post-credit scene of War 2. It featured Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, with Bobby Deol appearing in a brief cameo.
