Alia Bhatt craved for THIS Bengali sweet the most during pregnancy with daughter Raha

Celebrity nutritionist and entrepreneur, Suman Agarwal, disclosed that during her pregnancy, Alia Bhatt had a strong craving for a particular Bengali sweet, which she and her team supplied to her.

In a recent podcast with 9 And Beyond, Suman revealed that during her pregnancy, Alia would frequently order a particular Bengali sweet. Notably, Suman is also the proprietor of Mishtaa By Suman, a venture specializing in crafting healthy and nutritious sweets. Suman shared that she and her team fulfilled Alia Bhatt's craving by supplying her with Nolen Gud Sandesh throughout her pregnancy.



Suman further mentioned that Alia specifically requested the Kolkata variant of the Nolen Gud Sandesh. She elaborated on the nutritional benefits associated with each Indian sweet, emphasizing their healthiness and nutritional value. Additionally, Suman noted that during the lactation period, they also provide special Goond Ladoos for women.




During her pregnancy, Alia took to Instagram to seek recommendations from her fans for the best pizza place in Mumbai, as she was craving them. Later, Shilpa Shetty fulfilled Alia's cravings by sending her handmade pizzas from her own kitchen.



In an earlier interview with CNBC TV18, the new mother expressed her reluctance to offer parenting advice, stating that she believes each person's journey is unique. Alia emphasized her privileged background, acknowledging that she has the means to afford assistance when required. She elaborated on how she and her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, made a deliberate decision early on to ensure that one of them was consistently available for their daughter, Raha. This was achieved by dividing their roles based on their travel schedules, enabling one parent to be present with Raha at all times. Alia also highlighted the supportive role of their grandparents, who are readily available to assist whenever needed.
