Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi's sexual harassment case has a new update. According to the latest report,
Pakistan's
supreme court has granted permission of Meesha's plea for cross-examination of Ali's witnesses. Earlier, it was rejected by Lahore High Court.
Meesha appealed the apex court and it has ordered to record joint statements and cross-examination of 9 witnesses of Ali Zafar.
And for the same, a two-member bench of the SC ordered Ali's lawyers to submit the documents of the witnesses within a week.
The court also asked both the parties to complete the cross-examination within a single day.
For the unversed, Meesha accused Zafar of molesting her physically on "more than one occasion".
