Ali Fazal plays cupid for fan

Actor Ali Fazal played cupid for one of his fans, who had reached out to him on twitter, helping him propose to his childhood friend. Shabbir, a fan of Ali from Dubai, sent him a message on twitter asking his help to win over his lady love. Though surprised at first, the actor shot a video and sent it to the girl on social media requesting her to accept Shabbir's proposal.
'It is really amazing the kind of things internet can do. I got one random message from Shabbir which I saw and I realised he reached out to me sincerely for my help,' the actor said in a statement, according to a report in Indian Express.

Quite happy with the fact that social media helped him become a love guru, Ali said, 'He (Shabbir) wanted to propose to his childhood friend and I certainly wanted to do something to help. I'm happy it all worked out.'
