Ali Fazal explored a NEW talent while working with Tigmanshu Dhulia in ‘Milan Talkies’

Ali Fazal has already proved himself as a good actor. And now, his latest film — ‘Milan Talkies’, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia — sees him trying out something new. The movie, which has Ali sharing screen space with South actress Shraddha Srinath, gave him an opportunity to handle the camera.

Talking to a daily about his experience of working on the film, Ali said that he had never learnt so much on a single project. Calling his director a “great craftsman”, the actor said that he had taken a few shots in the movie. He went on to say that some day, he might start working behind the camera. Given the fact that Ali did write and shoot a short film after completing ‘Milan Talkies’, we are sure that the actor means business.

Talking about ‘Milan Talkies’, it is a love story set in Uttar Pradesh around 2010-2013, when single-screen theatres were prominent in smaller Indian towns and film print was still in circulation. Apart from Ali and Shraddha, it features Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Mishra, Reecha Sinha, and Sikander Kher in main roles.
