Alaya F recently talked about being body-shamed at different stages of growing up. In a recent chat, she emphasized that she faced bullying for being both skinny and fat at various times. She believes there is no end to such body-shaming culture.

In an interview with India Today, Alaya said that the industry is indeed competitive and everyone has their own insecurities about appearances and how they look. But she admits that all celebrities are way beyond how they look.

Alaya talked about how her character in ‘Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan’ addressed the same topic. She admits that she never looked the way she does now. She was a healthy kid and was overweight, for which she was fat-shamed all the time.

The actress further added that she lost weight as she started believing in self-care and doing workouts to look a certain way. But people started skinny-shaming her for losing all the weight. According to her, there is no end to this because she has been fat-shamed and skinny-shamed at several stages in her life.

Alaya made her acting debut with ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ alongside Saif Ali Khan. She has been seen in movies like ‘Freddy’, ‘Always Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat’, ‘U-Turn’, and ‘Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan’. She was last seen in Rajkummar Rao's ‘Srikanth’. Alaya is the granddaughter of Kabir Bedi and the daughter of Pooja Bedi.
