Panday got engaged to beau Ivor McCray is a glamorous party hosted at her residence on November 13. The couple decked up in traditional Indian attires and exchanged rings in the presence of close family and friends. Ananya Panday's cousin Alanna and fiancé Ivor are in no rush to get married.
Post the engagement Alanna had shared on Instagram, “So happy we got to have a small Indian Engagement ceremony with our close friends and family before we head back to LA today!” Addressing questions about their wedding date, she hinted that it may take place sometime in 2021. Alanna added “Also people that are asking when the wedding is - We're not gonna have it for another year and a half! Haven't even thought of a date yet. All we know for sure is that we're gonna be having two weddings to embrace out cultures!” Alanna is Chikki and
Deanne Panday
’s daughter. Her close-knit engagement was attended by Bipasha Basu,
Lara Dutta, Mahesh Bhupathi, Bhavana Panday, Sohail Khan,
Salma Khan, Atul Agnihotri and
Nirvaan Khan
among others.
Earlier this month, Ivor had proposed to Alanna during their Maldvies vacay. Sharing a picture of them kissing on the beach, Alanna had penned, “Didn’t realise it was possible to love another human this much until I met you. Thank you for making me smile everyday and loving me unconditionally. You truly make me the happiest human on this planet @ivor I can’t wait to have a family with you!”
