Khiladi 786 is finally being screened in Pakistan. However, on the posters of the film, the title will read Khiladi and not Khiladi 786. Mohammad Ashraf Gondal, vice chairman of
Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in Pakistan, told us, “The film was reviewed by the CBFC in Islamabad on Thursday afternoon, after which they gave permission to screen the movie in Pakistan’s theatres.”
Sheikh Amjad Rasheed, chairman, IMGC global entertainment, the distributor of the movie in Pakistan, said, “Until Wednesday, there were issues regarding the content of the movie, especially with the number 786.”
The CBFC in Pakistan has now set new guidelines for the importers of movies.
Rasheed said, “It all started with
Agent Vinod, Ek Tha Tiger,
JTHJ and now
Khiladi 786. The importers who get the films will be responsible for the content of the movie from now on.”
