Akshay Kumar to Hrithik Roshan: When actors used filmy t-shirts for promotions

Filmmakers usually have different marketing strategies to promote their films, one of which is the actors wearing t-shirts signifying the message of the film. In recent times we have seen actors sporting filmy t-shirts while promoting their films. From team Sooryanvanshi's 'Aa Rahi Hai Police' tees to Udta Punjab's Drugs di maa di t-shirts, take a look at the quirky promotional t-shirts which grabbed attention during promotions.

Sooryavanshi team says 'Aa Rahi Hai Police'

At the trailer launch of the much-awaited film 'Sooryavanshi', the outfits of lead actors Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh along with director Rohit Shetty were screaming out "Aa Rahi Hai Police". The team looked dapper as they posed for the paparazzi.

Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday papped wearing 'Chintu Tyagi' dace t-shirt

During the promotions of rom-com drama, 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' several times Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday were seen sporting white t-shirt which was imprinted with Chitu Tyagi's outline. Here both the stars were papped at the airport returning to the bay wearing white-on-denim look.

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's hilarious t-shirt 'War'

During the promotions of 'War', Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan got into a hilarious meme-war. Firstly, Tiger trolled his co-star and mentor with a picture of 'Krrish' printed on it with an odd caption that read, "Hiding your fear behind a mask?" Later Hrithik also stepped out wearing an interesting tee of his own. He was spotted Hrithik rocking a white tee with a picture of Tiger’s superhero character ‘Flying Jatt’ and a quote that read, “Flying away from this war already?”

Sonam Kapoor's tee screams out #ImNotAChickFlick

The makers of Veere Di Wedding came up with an unusual tagline called "Not a chick flick" during the promotions. At one of the events, one of the lead actresses Sonam Kapoor was seen donning a t-shirt printed as #NotAChickFlick. During an interaction when the actress was asked tagline she said that the movie is about four people, which caters to both men and women. It’s not a 'chick flick'. The female characters should not be called chicks as it's a derogatory way of looking at a film.

Udta Punjab's actors made everyone say 'Drugs Di Maa Di'

Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh were seen wearing black t-shirts with the slogan ‘Drugs Di Maa Di’ as they came together for Abhishek Chaubey's directorial 'Udta Punjab' to highlight the issue of drug addiction in Punjab.
