Akshay Kumar: That video was Rohit and my way of clearing the air

A few weeks ago, a video, featuring Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty appeared online. The actor and the filmmaker were engaged in a fist fight; only thing is it was a fake fight, which was treated with a lot of humour. Reports had been making rounds about how the actor-producer and the director-producer were not getting along with each other while shooting for Sooryavanshi in Hyderabad. The video, which also featured Katrina Kaif, was intentionally put out to stop rumour mongering.
When we met Akshay Kumar recently and reminded him of it, he said. “I think we should let bygones be bygones. We made the funny fight video because someone wrote something challenging the kind of equation we both share. There was no truth to that story and what better than a video clip to make light of the reports and stop unnecessary rumours from spreading all over. My only request to the media is that they should check their facts with us before writing anything that falls on their ears.”
