Akshay Kumar starrer 'Bachchan Pandey's' release postponed

Recently, Akshay Kumar announced his next project 'Bell Bottom' which is a spy drama that is inspired by true events. Helmed by Ranjit Tiwari the film is scheduled to hit theatres on January 22, 2021, which is a month after Bachchan Pandey. However, as per the latest development, the Khiladi's action thriller has been postponed for time being. It was slated to release on Christmas 2020.
According to reports in media, the scripting of Akshay starrer Bachchan Pandey is still underway and it will take time for its completion. Therefore the makers have decided to push the release as pre-production process will be time consuming. The team needs time to fine-tune the script.
Moreover, the film will avoid clashing with Aamir Khan's upcoming movie. At present, Akshay is busy shooting for 'Laxmmi Bomb' and 'Sooryavanshi'. By the end of November Akshay will be travelling to Hyderabad for a month-long schedule of the cop drama 'Sooryavanshi' which also features Katrina Kaif in a lead role. The film will hit the theatres on March 27,2020.
