Akshay Kumar shares pictures of his character from 'Gold'

Actors of the upcoming film 'Gold', which stars Akshay Kumar in the lead, have been promoting the film throughout the country and even the makers are coming with innovative activities to create a buzz around the project. Recently, Akshay, who plays the character of hockey coach Tapan Das, shared interesting pictures from the film, on his social media account. In one picture, you can see him as Tapan Das, along with actors who play members of the hockey team.He captioned the black and white photo, 'Tapan Das pepping the team because teamwork makes the dream work #4DaysToGold.'

Apart from Akshay, the film directed by Reema Kagti also reatures an ensemble cast comprising Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Singh and Sunny Kaushal. 'Gold' tells the story of India winning its first gold medal as a free nation at 1948 Olympics on British soil. The film will release on Independence Day.
