Akshay Kumar’s recently released film ‘
Raksha Bandhan’ talks about the bonding of an elder brother with his younger sister, with the backdrop of dowry. The actor recently revealed that his sister Alka watched the film and was extremely emotional about the same.
In an interview with News 18, Akshay shared that Alka who also co-produced the film caught hold of his hand and shared, ‘
Raju, badi pyaari film banayi hai (Raju, you’ve made a very beautiful film).”
While promoting the film on a reality show, Akshay had tears on stage after he received a message from his sister, which made him emotional. Recalling the moment, he shared that it took him by surprise that Aanand L. Rai surely made a beautiful film capturing emotions. Speaking about the footage, the actor shared that he was embarrassed but glad that he had a handkerchief with him. He couldn't hold back his tears. "It was very personal and aisa moment nahi hota hai camera pe. I caught hold of Mr. Aanand L Rai also, so yeah," he shared.
