Akshay Kumar, Russell Peters in Delhi

Clearly, a part of Akshay Kumar’s Hindustani dil belongs to Canada. His production “Speedy Singhs”, which will release internationally as “Breakaway”, has been shot in Canada.
The movie is about ice hockey, Canada’s most loved sport, and now the actor is coming with the cast of the movie to spend a day at the Canadian High Commissioner’s residence in Delhi. On Monday, Akshay, along with key cast members like Russell Peters, Camila, Vinay Virmani and Anupam Kher, will be present for the lunch, along with director Robert Lieberman.
A source tells us, “This plan had been in the pipeline for a long time. Akshay will talk not only about the movie, but also Canadian tourism. After the lunch, in the evening, the cast is expected to interact with some senior trade people, as well as celebrities and politicos from Delhi’s social circles, at a cocktail that is being hosted for them.” A party will also reportedly be held for Russell, who’s already in Delhi, at Florian tonight.
