What was the “Gajab Beizzati Moment” for Akshay Kumar?
During the rapid-fire round, Aman Gupta asked Akshay about his most “Gajab Beizzati Moment,” which means a moment of extreme embarrassment. Akshay recalled an incident from many years ago. He was at a big party with a close friend when a stranger started abusing his friend repeatedly.
When things got out of control
The ‘Khiladi’ shared that he tried to stop the person warning him several times. “He abused once, and I told him not to. He did it again. Then a third time. I kept warning him four or five times, but he just wouldn’t stop,” he said. Akshay Kumar then revealed that he slapped him in the heat of the moment. Unfortunately, the person became unconscious after the slap.
Akshay Kumar said it was a very big party, and his friend even started crying because the situation was so embarrassing. He felt scared and panicked, thinking that this could ruin his career.
He and others poured water on the person and prayed for him to wake up. “We poured water on him, and I was praying that he would regain consciousness. Oh my God,” he said.
Looking back, Akshay admitted it was a mistake. He said that if such a situation happened today, he would never react the same way. He said, “Had it been today, I would never react like that. For me, that was the real ‘Gajab Beizzati’ moment, something I would want to change if I could. Today, I would simply walk away.”
On the work front, he was last seen in ‘Jolly LLB 3’ and has multiple films in his pipeline.
