Many Bollywood celebs have praised the film for its heart-touching story and music, and the latest to join the list is none other than Akshay Kumar. The superstar called it a proud moment for Hindi cinema, especially because it stars two fresh faces, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who have won over the audience with their debut performances.

"Anyway, I’ve been noticing that gradually more Hindi films are starting to do well, and that’s a good sign. And for a newcomer’s film to do so well is a really big deal. They’ve done a good job," he added. "One of my cousins watched it, I haven’t seen it yet, and they said they really enjoyed it, and both of them were amazing. And Mohit Suri has done an excellent job, and his choice of songs is amazing. We all know that."

It’s a very good sign for our Hindi film industry that a newcomer, a new boy and girl, have had a successful film. And I welcome them. I'm very happy.
