Aks gets the Rakshasa award

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">mumbai: it didn''t do well at the box-office, but rakesh mehra''s <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">aks</span> has finally bagged another award – although an undesirable one. the maharashtra state commission for women has come up with its own version of the infamous raspberries awards, and has decided to bestow the title of <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">duryodhan</span> and <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">rakshasa</span> on selected films for gender insensitiveness and excessive violence, respectively.while <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">aks</span> bagged the <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">rakshasa</span> award, <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">aamdani athanni kharcha rupaiya</span> walked away with the <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">duryodhan</span> award this year. can''t say the filmmakers will be too pleased about awards for once. </div> </div>
