When it comes to preparing for a role, actors are known to go to various lengths. Whether it involves losing weight, gaining pounds or learning new stunts, techniques or languages, Bollywood is full of stories of stars who have gone the whole nine yards to perfect their character or improve their acting skills.
Take the instance of Ajay Devgn’s whose latest release ‘

De De Pyaar De

’ is doing well at the box office. In a recent interview, the actor said that years ago, he had visited a maulana to improve his

Urdu

and

Hindi

accent. He revealed that while he had no problems with Hindi, he wanted improve his Urdu

diction

and even went to the extent of putting marbles in his mouth to get the diction correct. He said the marbles helped him pronounce Urdu words properly and even improved his Hindi diction, something that comes in handy even today.
Ajay also said that he thinks staying healthy is important and today, even ordinary people work hard to stay in shape. He added that although there was immense pressure on stars to look their best all the time, he did not believe in going under the knife to improve his looks. Rather, he preferred looking after himself in a natural way because he believed in ageing gracefully.
