Ajay Devgn recalls how he would beat up people, kept a hockey stick in his car: I am calm now, don’t get angry

Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are currently celebrating the success of their latest film, 'Singham Again' . In a recent conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, Ajay admitted that he has use a hockey stick during fights in the past, with Rohit revealing that Ajay used to keep a hockey stick in his car.

The 'Singham' actor shared that he no longer engages in fights, saying he’s become calmer and now considers fighting a waste of time. He added that, in his view, the other person would likely get hurt, so he chooses to avoid conflicts altogether.

In the same interview, Ajay also shared his view on the current generation of actors, noting that he feels there’s a shortage of men in today’s lineup.

The 'Golmaal' actor expressed that audiences don’t find their action scenes as convincing because these actors seem to lack a certain essence that embodies the image of men.

Ajay observed that today’s actors lack the strong, commanding male presence seen in past generations, noting that earlier icons like Jackie Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan had a distinctly masculine aura.

Rohit Shetty agreed, adding that when actors like Akshay Kumar took on multiple opponents or Sunny Deol pulled out a hand pump, audiences believed in their strength and cheered for it, whereas this conviction is missing with today’s generation of actors.

In 'Singham Again', apart from Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff feature in pivotal roles.
