too has rewound to his idea from the pre-COVID days. The stage will soon be set up for 'Son Of Sardaar 2'.
Yes, Devgn has decided to go ahead with the second part and if possible, is looking at turning it into a franchise.
The modalities are fast being worked out. As things stand today, work is beginning to get underway on the script. And, Devgn has started to press on the accelerator.
When contacted, senior writer Robin Bhatt who helmed the writing and screenplay of the first part, confirmed and said, "We are working on 'Son Of Sardaar 2'."
Despite Robin Bhatt confirming the above story, Ajay Devgn Films spokesperson sent ETimes a mail that read, "There is no immediate plan or discussion on making 'Son of Sardaar 2'. Mr Ajay Devgn will be shooting for 'Bholaa', 'Drishyam 2', and will be busy with other prior commitments post the release of 'Runway 34'."
