Aishwarya to star in Ghosh's Chokher Bali

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">After impressing the Bengali population (and the rest as well) in the country with her superb performance in Sanjay Bhansali''s <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Devdas</span>, Aishwarya is now going one step further. <br />She has decided to take the plunge and act in a Bengali film called <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Chokher Bali</span>.The film will be directed by Ghosh and is based on Tagore''s screenplay. The casting news came after a lot of speculation, and considering Ash''s steep price, there was talk that Nandita Das would bag the role. <br />However, Ash seems to have beat her to the finish line. </div> </div>
