Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan were spotted touching down at the Mumbai airport on Monday morning, after a long break in New York city. The Bachchan family of three were spotted by the paparazzi as they made their way out of the airport, while also spreading New Year cheer.

Videos and photos from the airport showed the trio kicking off the year in high spirits, with Abhishek in a particularly cheery mood as he was seen cracking jokes and laughing with Aishwarya and Aaradhya as they made their way out of the airport, wrapping up what appeared to be a restful family holiday over the Christmas and New Year break.

On the professional front, Abhishek has been busy working on Shah Rukh Khan's next big venture, 'King'. The movie, reportedly gearing up for its release this year, will see Abhishek taking on the role of the antagonist with an ensemble cast featuring Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji and others.
