In the wake of
#MeToo movement
in India and allegations against
All India Backchod
's founder member Tanmay Bhat and Gursimran Khamba, the comedy collective announced that Tanmay will step down and Gursimran will be absent.
However, now the official Instagram handle of the team has posted an update on the same. The post talks about the impact made by the allegations on their organisation. It reveals that Tanmay's suspension has been lifted and Gursimran will no longer be working with them. Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya will continue with their operations in the team but will also have their independent solo careers.
It also stated that they will continue to entertain the audience and expressed their gratitude towards for letting them into everyone's life.
