Ahead of the 'Dhurandhar 2' and 'Toxic' clash, revisiting the moments when Ranveer Singh and Yash praised each other

Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar 2', starring Ranveer Singh, is set to clash with Yash's 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups' at the box office in March this year. The anticipation around both films is sky-high. Amidst this, an old compiled clip of both actors praising each other has surfaced on the internet. Let's know more about it.

When Ranveer Singh and Yash praised each other

A Reddit post featured a compiled video of different interview clips in which Ranveer Singh and Yash can be seen showering praise on each other. In an interview with ETV Bharat in 2018, Yash praised Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. Talking about the latter, he said, "I didn't like Ranveer Singh's work initially, but now he looks very good. I started liking him from 'Bajirao Mastani', and in 'Padmaavat', he was stunning. He did an amazing job."




Another clip of Ranveer Singh's interview with Film Companion in 2022 showcased the actor expressing that he is a huge fan of Yash's 'KGF'. He said, "I love that cinema. It's my first love."

'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups' will be headlined by Yash. The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, also features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Tara Sutaria, and Huma Qureshi. The buzz around the film is quite high, as the fans of the Kannada superstar have been waiting for it for a long time.

On the other hand, the mega run of 'Dhurandhar' at the box office has fans waiting for its part two in theaters with bated breath. The movie will feature Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, R Madhavan, and more. While the first part was showcased just in Hindi, the makers have decided to release the second installment in multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Both movies are set to hit theaters on March 19, 2026.
