And like my pockets would be full,” Janhvi said. “She would be like - show your pockets. I would be like - no mumma. She’d say - naa kodaka (my child),” she added.

With ₹2 crores as a budget, the film broke records in 1990 and grossed ₹15 crores, which was the highest in the era. During the recent celebratory event organised by the filmmakers, Chiranjeevi said, “I miss Sridevi very much on this occasion. She was the heart of JVAS ('Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari'). Her character felt like a dream. It was the first time we worked together, and our chemistry was truly special,” while reminiscing about memories of Sridevi.
