Aamir Khan took off to US for a short break after his last film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ hit the screens. The film received a poor response at the box off when it released around the festival Raksha Bandhan. Soon after his break, Aamir is looking to start work on his next film.

It was previously revealed that Aamir Khan is planning to remake 2018 Spanish hit ‘Campeones’ and he is reportedly planning to start work on the same soon. According to a news portal, Aamir Khan will closely start work on ‘Campeones’ remake, which he plans to shoot from January 2023. This film will be helmed by RS Prasanna, who has previously called the shots for ‘Shubh Mangal Savdhan’. The pre-production work on ‘Campeones’ remake has kickstarted and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will reportedly work on the music for this venture. Aamir’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ was a remake of Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’. The film raked in around Rs 59 crore nett at the end of its theatrical run in India.

Recently, Aamir Khan’s daughter hit headlines for her engagement with beau Nupur Shikhare. Ira announced the same on Instagram with a video wherein Nupur went down on his knee to propose his lady love. Aamir had holidayed with the couple last year and buzz about Nupur-Ira’s wedding has been going on since some time now.
