Ihana Dhillon, who met with a serious accident over two years ago, had since decided to take it easy professionally. Consciously choosing to do a select few projects in a year, the Punjabi and Bollywood actress says, “I prefer to take a break between my work after recovering from my accident because of my health reasons. Also, I prefer quality work than quantity.” She adds, “I am doing one Punjabi film, besides shooting for an OTT project on a women-oriented subject, this year.”
Talking about her slower pace she says, “I try to choose different characters in every movie I do. I feel when you make this decision your opportunities are limited and slow but I’m not in a hurry. Acting is my passion and I give my 100% in every character I play.”
After Radhe and Bhuj, Ihana is being choosy about accepting Hindi films. She says, “I want to play different characters in every movie I sign, that’s why chose Radhe and Bhuj. There is no fun in repeating myself. I’m looking forward to doing something different again, and if any opportunity arises, I will opt for that over a regular, mainstream film.”
In an industry where most actors are often seeing socializing with each other, Ihana prefers to keep aloof. She says, “I’m friends with every co-artist I have worked work. But I’m not a very social person and am also little introverted, that’s why you don’t see me in any parties or get together.”
