After Pooja Bhatt, Swara Bhasker and Sonu Sood come out in support of wrestlers protesting against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh

Support is pouring in from all sides for the wrestlers who are protesting against Wrestling Federation India boss Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Top wrestlers like Sangeeta Phogat, Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia and many others are part of the protest.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Sonu Sood wrote, 'The sportspersons of the country will definitely win the battle of wrestling against injustice. Jai Hind.'



Swara shared a video message to show her support for the athelets and wrote, “Shameful that our top International athletes are forced to protest on streets against sexual harassment but accused BJP MP is being consistently shielded by the govt. #IStandWithMyChampions. Sack & investigate #BrijBhushanSharanSingh.”



In the video, Swara said she is not supporting them because they are international level athletes but because if this is the condition of such notable wrestlers, what will be the fate of a common woman/victim. The actress also went on to question why the leaders of the ruling party do not mind getting themselves clicked with these athletes when they win medals for the country, but are now maintaining distance from them. She also requested people to come in support of them.

Earlier, Pooja Bhatt had slammed Indian Olympic Association (IOA) chief PT Usha after she criticised their public protest of the wrestlers.
