'When Vikas approached him, he gave the nod after one reading of the story. The filmmaker is currently developing the script further. Casting for the daughter's role is yet to commence but prep is on in full swing,' a source close to the development informed Mirror.
Bachchan is currently in Kolkata shooting for Sujoy Ghosh's thriller 'TE3N', also featuring Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He will wrap up the film this month and then move to Delhi for Shoojit Sircar's upcoming social thriller. Anees Bazmee's 'Aankhen 2' will also roll towards the year-end.
When asked about his next, Vikas had recently joked, 'Now who will work with me?' obviously referring to the box-office failure of his last film, 'Shaandaar'. Now, he can proudly say with a smile, 'Big B'.
