While he is currently busy finishing ‘King’, the actor is expected to revisit one of his biggest hits, as early groundwork for a sequel is already underway. As per reports, ‘Jawan 2’ has now moved past the concept phase, with the script locked after several months of development.

According to India Today, a script and idea for ‘Jawan 2’ had been in the works for a while. A few weeks ago, the script was finalised. SRK will begin work on the film after completing ‘King’. The team is looking to lock an A-lister from the South as the villain.

The sequel is expected to roll next year, once again bringing Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee together after ‘Jawan’ emerged as a record-breaking blockbuster across markets.
