Aditya: Take my body, not just my eyes

Who said Aditya Pancholi makes news for all the wrong reasons only!
TOI discovered the actor, in a magnificent humanitarian gesture, has just donated his body to science. Other stars have pledged their eyes, but Pancholi on June 27 signed the papers giving Sion Hospital claim over his mortal remains.
He tried to play down the deed, then reluctantly admitted, ���People say I have beautiful eyes.So I thought I should donate them. But when I went to the hospital, I decided to pledge my entire body.��� Wife Zarina Wahab and daughter Sana signed the documents as witnesses for Pancholi.
���This is the first time I took permission from my family for something I want to do,��� laughed the actor. But he���s been an inspiration, apparently, because wife Zarina is now considering donating her body as well and so are a few friends.
Pancholi chose Sion Hospital because he is emotionally attached to the place. ���My uncle breathed his last here. I was very close to him and my family hid the fact from me for six months that he was no more. I come from a lower middle-class family and couldn���t afford better treatment for him. After his death, my aunt, who raised me, went through depression and that���s when I decided to do something for the underprivileged. Isn���t it better to give someone vision than just hang on the wall as a photograph after you���re dead,��� asked Pancholi, who now wants to spread awareness about this cause.
