Aditya Roy Kapur opens up on his relationship status: ‘I’m bad with...'

Actor Aditya Roy Kapur who had reportedly split from Ananya Panday earlier this year, gave some insight into his personal life recently during an interview with Kareena Kapoor Khan on her show, 'What Women Want'.

In a recent promo of the Kareena Kapoor Khan's show 'What Women Want', Aditya Roy Kapur humorously discussed how he handles relationship 'ghosting'. When asked by Kareena how he deals with it, Aditya candidly replied that he prefers to block rather than engage with endless messages. He joked, “A hundred messages! I’m bad with my phone anyway. My whole day will go by, and I'll just... block.”

Kareena then shifted the conversation to his relationship status, noting, “A lot of women want to know about your relationship status.” Aditya playfully responded by asking, “Is chilling a status?” To which Kareena quipped, “You are always chilling, Adi.”

Aditya, embracing the light-hearted tone, added, “I’m a chiller.” This exchange revealed Aditya's laid-back attitude toward his personal life.

Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur, who were reportedly together for about two years, called it quits a few months ago. A close friend of the two actors shared with the Bombay Times, “They ended their relationship nearly a month ago. They seemed to be doing well together, so the breakup surprised all of us. They are on good terms, but Ananya is working on moving forward, though there’s definitely some pain involved. She's been spending time with her new furry companion. Meanwhile, Aditya is also handling the situation in a mature manner.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aditya is set to star in Anurag Basu's 'Metro In Dino' alongside Sara Ali Khan. On the other hand, Ananya Panday has an exciting lineup of projects, including 'Call Me Bae Season 2' and an untitled film featuring Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan.
