Aditi Rao Hydari: Siddharth and my world revolves around love
For Aditi Rao Hydari, love is at the centre of everything – whether it’s the comfort she shares with husband Siddharth, the joy of coming home to their cats Iggy and Ollie, or the little rituals that make everyday life special. Her recent birthday post for Siddharth had netizens going ‘aww’. Speaking to Bombay Times, the actress admits that what they share is rooted in something far deeper than grand romantic gestures.
‘Siddu is an incredible human being’“Siddu is a very special being, and I’m not saying this because he’s family. I’m saying this because he’s genuinely an incredible human being,” Aditi shares. What makes their relationship work, she says, is the fact that they are both driven by the same emotional core. “I always feel like we’re a good mix because somewhere at the core of who we are, both of us prioritise the same thing. Our worlds revolve around love.”
The actress adds that it's not just love; there is also admiration. “I’ve realised that I function best in environments where there is love but also challenge and growth. Siddharth belongs to the same profession as I do, and he has had so much more experience than I have. I find him deeply inspiring,” the actress shares, adding, “For me, respect is very important. To respect your partner, to be inspired by them, and to have love drive both your worlds – that’s what truly matters.”
‘At home, everything is about Iggy and Ollie’The two also share another important role – being devoted pet parents to Iggy and Ollie. “At home, honestly, everything revolves around Iggy and Ollie. They run the house, and Siddharth and I are basically designated treat dispensers,” Aditi laughs.
