Standup comedian Aditi Mittal had recently criticized Comedian-writer and the co-founder of AIB
Tanmay Bhat for claiming that he is suffering from depression following the #MeToo storm during which the comedian was under fire for is reported inaction over in the complaints against comic
Utsav Chakraborty.
Aditi criticized Tanmay claiming that there were instances where he allegedly participated in or ignored the verbal harassments that were hurled at her by the male members after which she had to say no to work for almost a year.
The actress also explained why she was strongly in support of the women who spoke up against Utsav Chakraborty.
However, Aditi criticizing Tanmay didn't go down well with his fans who criticized Aditi for trying to hurt Tanmay while he is suffering. The comedian also claimed that she has been harassed by Tanmay's fans on
Instagram.
Aditi took to Twitter to hit back at Tanmay's fans. She tweeted, "Tanmay Bhat’s fan boys showing up on Insta to harass me coz I spent years getting bullied by his systems, suffered the mental trauma from it, &now for speaking up I have to hear the same shit from his fans and suffer the mental trauma for it. Where’s my celeb infested air-kissing?"
Aditi Mittal is among the top standup comedians in India and is one of the first female stand-up comedians in the country.
