Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Adipurush’ continues to struggle at the box office. Adding to the woes of negative word of mouth publicity, the film has now fallen prey to online piracy.
After piracy websites, ‘Adipurush’ has been leaked on YouTube. According to News18, HD quality of the movie was available for viewing on YouTube and it had garnered over 2.3 million views. However, hours later, the link went missing and the movie was taken off the website.
Directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ faced a lot of flak for its dialogues, which hurt religious sentiments. After a whole lot of controversy, dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir recently apologised to the audience for hurting people’s emotions. He shared on Instagram, “I accept people’s emotions have been hurt by Adipurush. With folded hands, I extend my unconditional apologies. May Prabhu Bajrang Bali keep us united and grant us strength to serve our sacred Sanatan and our great nation. #Adipurush.”
‘Adipurush’ released on June 16 and has collected over Rs 128 crore nett at the domestic box office till now. The film is inspired from Hindu epic Ramayana and features Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Devdatta Nage as Lord Hanuman.
