After signing on Randeep Hooda to play the role of Charles Sobhraj in his film 'Bad', director Prawaal Raman has now got Adil Hussain on board. Hussain, last seen in the 'Life of Pi' and in 'English Vinglish', will play the role of Amod Kant, the investigation officer on the serial killer’s case.
Interestingly, Kant is Raman’s uncle, and the director has acquired the rights of Kant’s account of working on the case during the 70s and that’s what the movie’s story is based on.

Adil, we hear, will now be meeting Kant in Delhi to prepare for the role and to also learn more about the cop’s experience of trying to catch Sobhraj while he was on the run. But, the actor’s preparation doesn’t just involve research. Adil has also been busy growing a moustache for four months to get Kant’s exact look for the film.
The crew will shoot in Goa end of this month, once Randeep has a break from his shoot for Highway. Adil confirmed the news.
