Adhyayan Suman who is gearing up for his upcoming web series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,’ finds himself in the spotlight as he reflects on his Bollywood debut, contrasting against his father Shekhar Suman's candid critique.

In a recent interview with Mashable India, Shekhar Suman revealed his reservations about Adhyayan's early entry into the film industry, considering him too young for the demanding world of Bollywood. He expressed disappointment with the film chosen for Adhyayan's debut, believing it failed to do justice to his son's talent.

Adhyayan shared his perspective, recalling his initial reluctance to pursue acting due to his weight issues, which led him to aspire to become a director. However, an unexpected encounter with Ajay Devgn altered his fate, leading to discussions with producer Kumar Mangat and ultimately his debut film opportunity.

Despite Shekhar's initial doubts and advice to wait for a more suitable launch, Adhyayan, driven by impatience, proceeded with the opportunity. However, upon reflection, he acknowledged the shortcomings of the debut project, realizing that it offered him minimal screen time and failed to showcase his potential adequately.

Shekhar labeled the debut experience as a "blunder," emphasizing the difference between expectations and reality. Despite the setback, he urged Adhyayan to persevere and uphold his commitments in the face of adversity.

Adhyayan's debut film, ‘Haal-E-Dil,’ released in 2008, featured him alongside Amita Pathak and Nakuul Mehta. Directed by Ajay Devgn's cousin, Anil Devgan, the film flopped at the box office.
