Adarsh Gourav on his music plans for 2026 after 'Tu Yaa Main' songs win hearts: 'I intend to write and release more singles'

'Tu Yaa Main' might have performed magnificently at the box office even with decent reviews it received from critics and audiences for its unique concept. But one thing is sure, the songs in the thriller movie were surely catchy. Now, Adarsh Gourav plans to dedicate more time to music this year. The actor-singer received positive feedback for the two songs he sang in 'Tu Yaa Main'. Now he wants to release more tracks and is even thinking of bringing out an album before 2026 ends. He also plans to take a short break from acting so he can focus completely on writing and recording new music.In 'Tu Yaa Main,' Adarsh Gourav sang "Jee Liya" and "Naam Karu Bada." Many people liked his voice in both songs. That response has encouraged him to do more music. He feels it is the right time to explore this side of his talent more seriously. Gourav has already started writing songs. He wants to release several singles in 2026, trying both rap and melody. The actor told Mid Day, “Music has always been a personal space for me. The kind of love I received for my work in Tu Yaa Main encouraged me to open up more. This year, I intend to write and release more music. I’m trying to put out more singles, exploring both rap and melody. Even during shoots, I’ve been writing whenever I find the time.”After finishing his first Telugu film, Adarsh wants to take a short break. During this time he plans to focus only on music. He is looking for a quiet place where he can write freely without any disturbances. He adds, “I’m planning to spend time in a more isolated space where I can write freely and explore ideas without distractions.”Adarsh was born in Jamshedpur but comes from a Telugu family. His parents made sure he spoke Telugu at home since childhood. He enjoyed the food in Hyderabad during his shoot because it reminded him of home. Apart from music, he also dreams of directing films one day. In a 2025 chat with TOI City, Adarsh revealed that he thinks he might start with a satire-drama when he turns 30. Meanwhile, 'Tu Yaa Main' is a romance thriller film starring Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav in the lead roles.
