Actor on a high over Oscar shortlist

Actor Sunny Hinduja is on a high these days. His film 'Ballad Of Rustom' is among the 289 movies shortlisted under The Best Picture category at the 86th Academy Awards. Though the final nominations will be announced only today, Sunny feels that getting selected — out of 3,000 films from across the world — is an achievement in itself.
Says he, “The film competed with the best in the world; even the initial selection makes it worth the effort.” Having learnt acting at the Film and Television Institute of India (Pune), his first brush with acting was in an action-packed sci-fi series.He also featured in an ad film, apart from a couple of Bollywood films like 'Cycle Kick', 'Aasma' and 'Freedom'.
Says the actor, “I also did an international project called The Owner, which holds the Guinness Record for a film with maximum directors.” His next, Kill The Rapist, deals with the lack of stringent laws against rape in our country.
