Actor Armaan Kohli arrested for assaulting girlfriend

Mumbai: Police on Tuesday arrested former 'Bigg Boss' contestant, actor Armaan Kohli, for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Neeru Randhawa at his Santacruz residence. The actor was running around after the FIR was registered against him with the Santacruz police on June 3, after he reportedly got out of control and attacked Randhawa, who suffered an injury to her forehead and hand.Police learnt about the incident when they received call from Kokilaben hospital
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone IX) Paramjit Singh Dahiya confirmed the arrest. The actor was not cooperating in the probe and later fled away. “Armaan has been tracked from Lonavala and brought to Mumbai,” said Dahiya. The actor has been booked under the Indian Penal Code sections 326 (grievous hurt by dangerous weapon).
Police found out that Armaan has switched off his mobile so that he would not be tracked. In the complaint, Randhawa said, “Armaan pulled my hair and banged on the floor and he even pushed me down the stairs. The fight began after the actor got out of control after he inquired about the money earned from his Goa villa that was given on rent. He started abusing me when I told that the client has made payment to the staff and I will ask them to transfer the money.”
Armaan is infamous for his temper in the past when he has assaulted his former girlfriend. He was also involved for openly abused, threatened and nearly hit his fellow contestants in 2013. He was arrested by the Lonavala police then and was later released on bail.
